The Royal Palace of Caserta – English Garden, Italy

This 3D model presents a layered representation of the English Garden at the Royal Palace of Caserta, designed for tactile visualization and UV printing technology.

The model consists of three map levels, each representing a different spatial scale of the garden and its surroundings:

• Level 0 – A general plan of the Royal Palace of Caserta and its gardens, providing an overview of the palace complex and the location of the English Garden within the broader landscape.
• Level 1 – A detailed map of the English Garden, showing the main layout, pathways, water features, and vegetation structure.
• Level 2 – A map of the upper section of the English Garden, focusing on the higher part of the garden and its characteristic landscape elements.

The model was prepared specifically for UV printing, using a multi-layer approach. The project includes PDF files for each printable layer, corresponding to the following thickness levels: 0.5 mm, 0.8 mm, 1.0 mm, 1.5 mm, 2.0 mm. Additionally, the set includes a full-color base layer that serves as the visual background for the raised UV-printed layers.
