1. About the Platform
T-REP is an open platform for sharing knowledge, educational resources, and tactile graphics. The Platform supports educational, scientific, and informational activities by enabling users to create, upload, access, exchange, and reuse materials related to tactile graphics and accessibility.
By registering for or using the Platform, you agree to these Terms of Use, Privacy Policy, and Licensing Conditions.
2. Platform Operator and Data Controller
The Platform is operated by and personal data is processed by:

3. Acceptable Use
Users agree to:
- comply with all applicable laws and regulations;
- respect intellectual property and other rights of third parties;
- refrain from activities that may disrupt, damage, or impair the operation of the Platform;
- not upload, publish, or distribute unlawful, harmful, misleading, or infringing content.
The Platform reserves the right to remove content that violates applicable laws, these Terms, or the mission of the Platform.
4. Licensing of Materials
To ensure openness, interoperability, and broad dissemination of knowledge, all materials made available through the T-REP Platform are distributed under the:
Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 International License (CC BY 4.0).
Under this license, users are free to:
- copy and redistribute materials in any medium or format;
- adapt, remix, transform, and build upon the materials;
- use the materials for both non-commercial and commercial purposes.
The only requirement is proper attribution, including:
- identification of the original author(s);
- reference to the source of the material;
- indication of the CC BY 4.0 license;
- indication of any modifications made to the original work.
By uploading content to the Platform, users agree that such content may be made available under the CC BY 4.0 license. Acceptance of these licensing terms is required during registration.
This common licensing framework ensures that the repository remains open, internationally accessible, and reusable by educators, researchers, institutions, and the wider community.
5. Intellectual Property
Users retain ownership of the intellectual property rights in the content they submit.
By submitting content, users grant the Platform a non-exclusive right to store, process, display, and distribute such content for educational, scientific, and informational purposes consistent with the Platform’s mission and the CC BY 4.0 license.
Users are responsible for ensuring that uploaded materials do not infringe copyrights, trademarks, privacy rights, or other rights of third parties.
6. Personal Data and Privacy
The Platform collects and processes only the personal data necessary for its operation, such as:
- name and contact details;
- institutional or professional affiliation (where applicable);
- communication and correspondence data.
Personal data is processed for the purposes of:
- providing Platform services;
- managing user accounts;
- responding to inquiries and support requests;
- ensuring technical operation and security;
- fulfilling legal obligations;
- establishing, exercising, or defending legal claims.
The legal bases for processing are:
- Article 6(1)(b) GDPR – performance of a contract;
- Article 6(1)(f) GDPR – legitimate interests of the Data Controller.
Personal data is not sold or shared for marketing purposes and is disclosed only where required by law or necessary for the operation of the Platform.
7. Automatically Collected Information
For security, administration, and statistical purposes, the Platform may automatically collect:
- IP addresses;
- browser and device information;
- access times;
- general usage statistics.
Such information is used exclusively to maintain, improve, and secure the Platform.
8. Cookies
The Platform uses cookies to support essential functionality and improve user experience.
The following categories of cookies may be used:
- Essential Cookies – necessary for the operation of the Platform;
- Preference Cookies – used to remember accessibility and display settings;
- Analytics Cookies – used to understand and improve Platform performance.
No marketing or advertising cookies are used.
Users may manage cookie preferences through their browser settings, although disabling certain cookies may affect functionality.
9. User Rights Under GDPR
Subject to applicable law, users have the right to:
- access their personal data;
- rectify inaccurate or incomplete data;
- request erasure of personal data;
- restrict processing;

- object to processing based on legitimate interests;
- withdraw consent where processing is based on consent.
Users also have the right to lodge a complaint with the competent supervisory authority, including:
President of the Personal Data Protection Office (PUODO), Poland.

10. Disclaimer and Limitation of Liability
The Platform and its content are provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis without warranties of any kind.
While reasonable efforts are made to maintain accuracy and availability, the Platform does not guarantee that information, materials, or services will be complete, accurate, uninterrupted, or error-free.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, the Platform operators shall not be liable for any loss or damage arising from:
- reliance on information provided through the Platform;
- interruptions, outages, or technical failures;
- use of third-party resources or external links;
- user-generated content.
Users assume responsibility for their use of the Platform and any materials obtained through it.
11. External Resources
The Platform may contain links to external websites and resources.
The Platform operators do not control and are not responsible for the content, policies, or practices of third-party websites.
12. Governing Law
These Terms and this Policy shall be governed by and interpreted in accordance with the laws of the Republic of Poland and applicable European Union legislation, including the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).
13. Changes to These Terms
These Terms, Privacy Policy, and Licensing Conditions may be updated periodically to reflect legal, technical, or organizational changes.
Continued use of the Platform after publication of updated versions constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
