Accessibility Statement

Military University of Technology
is committed to ensuring the accessibility of its website in accordance with the Act of 4 April 2019 on the Digital Accessibility of Websites and Mobile Applications of Public Bodies.

This Accessibility Statement applies to the Tactile Graphics Repository (T-REP) website: https://t-rep.wat.edu.pl/

Date of website publication: 01 April 2026
Date of the last significant update: 23 September 2026

Digital accessibility status

This website is partially compliant with the requirements set out in the annex to the Act of 4 April 2019 on the Digital Accessibility of Websites and Mobile Applications of Public Bodies due to the non-compliances described below.

Non-accessible content

Non-compliance with digital accessibility requirements

The T-REP website has been designed with accessibility in mind and has been tested with assistive technologies and by users, including users of screen readers.

However, some accessibility limitations may still occur.

Some custom form controls, particularly the colour selection control used when adding or editing repository content, may not be fully accessible to screen-reader users. The standard graphical colour picker may provide technical colour information rather than a sufficiently clear description of the purpose and selected colour.

Some complex interactive elements and third-party components may not provide the same level of accessibility with all combinations of browsers and assistive technologies.

The repository contains specialised resources such as tactile graphics, vector graphics, PDF files, three-dimensional models and files intended for manufacturing tactile materials. Due to the nature of these resources, their complete content cannot always be represented directly through a screen reader. Where possible, resources are accompanied by textual descriptions, metadata and information about their purpose and production method.

Content submitted by registered users may occasionally contain incomplete accessibility information. Repository administrators review and improve such content where possible.

Identified accessibility problems are progressively addressed as the platform is developed and evaluated

Preparation of this Accessibility Statement

Date of preparation of this statement: 23 September 2026
Date of the most recent review of this statement: 23 September 2026

This statement was prepared on the basis of a self-assessment of the website and functional accessibility testing, including testing with assistive technologies and user testing.

Accessibility testing included evaluation of navigation, filtering mechanisms, repository forms, form labels and instructions, status messages, alternative descriptions of graphical content and access to downloadable resources.

Keyboard shortcuts

The T-REP website can be operated using standard web browser and assistive technology keyboard shortcuts.

The website does not introduce custom keyboard shortcuts that interfere with standard browser or assistive technology commands.
